Ellen: “Women on Wings is a daily inspiration for me because of the combination of different elements. Generating jobs and therefore an income for women and their families increases livelihood and decreases poverty. Sharing the business knowledge and skills I have gained over the last 20 years. Proving through our way of working that development based on equality and economic principles is sustainable.”

Maria: “Inspiration and challenge is what Women on Wings want to provide. Loesje says: set yourself big targets and you won’t miss..... Creating a million jobs for women in rural India is what we are doing it for. Income provides options, for you and for your children. I myself grew up on a farm and see my education and work experience as life-enriching things. I want to share the knowledge and skills I have learned with women in a part of the world where they (still) don’t necessarily have those opportunities. It’s a pleasure and a passion.”
